حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَلَقَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَأُنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ وَقَصَّرَ بَعْضُهُمْ.
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that during Hajjat-ul-Wada, the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and some of his Companions (may Allah be well pleased with them) got their heads shaved while some of his Companions got their hair cut short.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ حجۃ الوداع میں حبیبِ کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور آپ کے بعض صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم نے اپنے سر منڈوائے جبکہ بعض صحابہ کرام نے بال چھوٹے کروائے۔
