حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، رضى الله عنهما قَالَ أَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَكَّةَ تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ يَوْمًا يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ.
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) states, 'The Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stayed in Makkah al-Mukarramah for nineteen days, during which he offered two units in each prayer (i.e., he shortened the prayers).'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مکہ مکرمہ میں انیس دن قیام فرمایا اور ہر نماز میں دو دو رکعتیں پڑھیں (یعنی قصر فرمائی)۔
