Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ أَوَّلُ مَوْلُودٍ وُلِدَ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَتَوْا بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَمْرَةً فَلاَكَهَا ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَهَا فِي فِيهِ، فَأَوَّلُ مَا دَخَلَ بَطْنَهُ رِيقُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha (may Allah be well pleased with her) that the first child who was born in the Islamic Land (i.e. Medina) amongst the Emigrants, was `Abdullah bin Az-Zubair. They brought him to the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) . the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took a date, and after chewing it, put its juice in his mouth. So the first thing that went into the child's stomach, was the saliva of the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)
Urdu Translation
ہم سے قتیبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابواسامہ نے، ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے اور ان سے حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ سب سے پہلا بچہ جو اسلام میں ( ہجرت کے بعد ) پیدا ہوا، حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت زبیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما ہیں۔ انہیں لوگ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں لائے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک کھجور لے کر اسے چبایا پھر اس کو ان کے منہ میں ڈال دیا۔ اس لیے سب سے پہلی چیز جو ان کے پیٹ میں گئی وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا لعاب مبارک تھا۔
