Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ مَا عَابَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم طَعَامًا قَطُّ، إِنِ اشْتَهَاهُ أَكَلَهُ، وَإِلاَّ تَرَكَهُ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) never criticized any food (presented to him), but he would eat it if he liked it; otherwise, he would leave it (without expressing his dislike)
Urdu Translation
مجھ علی بن جعد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کو شعبہ نے خبر دی، انہیں اعمش نے، انہیں ابوحازم نے اور ان سے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے کبھی کسی کھانے میں عیب نہیں نکالا، اگر آپ کو مرغوب ہوتا تو کھاتے ورنہ چھوڑ دیتے۔
