Arabic (Original)
قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ ذَهَبَ فَرَسٌ لَهُ، فَأَخَذَهُ الْعَدُوُّ، فَظَهَرَ عَلَيْهِ الْمُسْلِمُونَ فَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَأَبَقَ عَبْدٌ لَهُ فَلَحِقَ بِالرُّومِ، فَظَهَرَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمُسْلِمُونَ، فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who states: A horse of his went missing and the enemy seized it. Then the Muslims prevailed over the enemy and the horse was returned to him during the time of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). And a slave of his fled and joined the Romans. Then the Muslims prevailed over them, and Khalid bin al-Walid (may Allah be well pleased with him) returned him after the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں: ان کا ایک گھوڑا گم ہو گیا اور دشمن نے پکڑ لیا۔ پھر مسلمانوں نے دشمن پر فتح پائی تو وہ گھوڑا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانے میں واپس کیا گیا۔ اور ان کا ایک غلام بھاگ کر رومیوں سے جا ملا، پھر مسلمانوں نے ان پر فتح پائی تو خالد بن ولید (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے بعد اسے واپس کیا۔
