حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ صَبَّحَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَيْبَرَ وَقَدْ خَرَجُوا بِالْمَسَاحِي عَلَى أَعْنَاقِهِمْ، فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ قَالُوا هَذَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَالْخَمِيسُ، مُحَمَّدٌ وَالْخَمِيسُ. فَلَجَئُوا إِلَى الْحِصْنِ، فَرَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَيْهِ وَقَالَ " اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، خَرِبَتْ خَيْبَرُ، إِنَّا إِذَا نَزَلْنَا بِسَاحَةِ قَوْمٍ فَسَاءَ صَبَاحُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ ". وَأَصَبْنَا حُمُرًا فَطَبَخْنَاهَا، فَنَادَى مُنَادِي النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يَنْهَيَانِكُمْ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ، فَأُكْفِئَتِ الْقُدُورُ بِمَا فِيهَا. تَابَعَهُ عَلِيٌّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَيْهِ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) who states: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) attacked Khaybar at dawn. The people (Jews) came out with their spades on their shoulders. When they saw him, they said: This is Muhammad and his army! Muhammad and his army! They fled into the fortress. The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) raised his blessed hands and declared: "Allahu Akbar! Khaybar is destroyed! Indeed, when we descend in the territory of a people, evil is the morning of those who were warned." We obtained some domesticated donkeys and cooked them, but the announcer of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) proclaimed: Indeed, Allah and His Messenger forbid you from the meat of domesticated donkeys. So the pots were overturned with all that was in them.
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے صبح کے وقت خیبر پر (حملہ) کیا۔ وہ لوگ (یہودی) اپنے پھاوڑے اپنی گردنوں پر رکھے ہوئے نکلے۔ جب انہوں نے آپ کو دیکھا تو کہنے لگے: یہ محمد اور لشکر ہے! محمد اور لشکر! وہ قلعے میں بھاگ گئے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور ارشاد فرمایا: "اللہ اکبر! خیبر تباہ ہوا! بے شک جب ہم کسی قوم کے میدان میں اترتے ہیں تو ڈرائے ہوئوں کی صبح بری ہوتی ہے۔" ہمیں کچھ گھریلو گدھے ملے تو ہم نے انہیں پکایا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے منادی نے اعلان کیا: بے شک اللہ اور اس کے رسول تمہیں گھریلو گدھوں کے گوشت سے منع فرماتے ہیں۔ تو دیگیں الٹا دی گئیں جو کچھ ان میں تھا سمیت۔
