Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَزَوَّدُ لُحُومَ الأَضَاحِيِّ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) who states: We used to take the meat of sacrificial animals as provisions to Madinah during the time of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے، فرماتے ہیں: ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے عہدِ مبارک میں قربانی کے گوشت کا زادِ راہ مدینہ تک لے جاتے تھے۔
