Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَنْقُلُ وَيَقُولُ " لَوْلاَ أَنْتَ مَا اهْتَدَيْنَا ".
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Bara' (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was carrying earth (during the digging of the trench) and reciting: "Had it not been for You (O Allah), we would not have been guided."
Urdu Translation
حضرت براء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم (خندق کی کھدائی میں) مٹی ڈھو رہے تھے اور فرما رہے تھے: "اگر تو (اے اللہ) نہ ہوتا تو ہم ہدایت نہ پاتے۔"
