Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ".
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: "A single morning or evening spent in the path of Allah is better than the entire world and all that it contains."
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اللہ کے راستے میں ایک صبح یا ایک شام گزارنا دنیا اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے سب سے بہتر ہے۔"
