Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ " الرَّهْنُ يُرْكَبُ بِنَفَقَتِهِ، وَيُشْرَبُ لَبَنُ الدَّرِّ إِذَا كَانَ مَرْهُونًا ".
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to state: 'A mortgaged animal may be ridden in return for the expenses of its upkeep, and the milk of a milch animal may be drunk when it is mortgaged (in return for the expenses of feeding it).'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ارشاد فرمایا کرتے تھے: گروی رکھے ہوئے جانور پر اس کے خرچ کے بدلے سواری کی جائے، اور دودھ والا جانور جب گروی ہو تو اس کے خرچ کے بدلے اس کا دودھ پیا جائے۔
