Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا خَلاَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَارِبُ بْنُ دِثَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَهْوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ـ قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ أُرَاهُ قَالَ ضُحًى ـ فَقَالَ " صَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ". وَكَانَ لِي عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ فَقَضَانِي وَزَادَنِي.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that I came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) while he was in the Masjid an-Nabawi. Mis'ar stated that he thinks Hadrat Jabir mentioned the forenoon time. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Offer two rak'at of prayer.' I was owed a debt by him (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). He repaid it and gave me more than what was due.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، آپ مسجدِ نبوی میں تشریف فرما تھے۔ مسعر نے بیان کیا کہ میرا خیال ہے کہ انہوں نے چاشت کے وقت کا ذکر کیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: دو رکعت نماز ادا کرو۔ میرا آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم پر قرض تھا، آپ نے اسے ادا فرمایا بلکہ اس سے زیادہ عنایت فرمایا۔
