Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " كَيْفَ تَرَى بَعِيرَكَ أَتَبِيعُنِيهِ ". قُلْتُ نَعَمْ. فَبِعْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ غَدَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ بِالْبَعِيرِ، فَأَعْطَانِي ثَمَنَهُ.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that I was in the company of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) during one of his military expeditions. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'How do you find your camel? Will you sell it to me?' I submitted: 'Yes.' So I sold it to him. When he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) arrived in Madinah, I brought the camel to him in the morning and he paid me its price.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ہمراہ ایک غزوے میں شریک تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: تمہارا اونٹ کیسا ہے؟ کیا تم اسے مجھے بیچو گے؟ میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں! چنانچہ میں نے وہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو بیچ دیا۔ پھر جب آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مدینہ منورہ تشریف لائے تو میں صبح کو اونٹ لے کر آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مجھے اس کی قیمت ادا فرما دی۔
