It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: Hadrat Ibrahim (upon him be peace) emigrated with Hadrat Sarah (may Allah be well pleased with her) and entered a town where there was a king or a tyrant. He was told: Ibrahim has come with a most beautiful woman. He sent for him and asked: O Ibrahim! Who is this woman with you? He replied: My sister. Then Hadrat Ibrahim (upon him be peace) returned to Hadrat Sarah (may Allah be well pleased with her) and said: Do not deny my words, for I have told them you are my sister. By Allah, there is no believer on this earth besides you and me. (The king) then sent for Hadrat Sarah (may Allah be well pleased with her). When he approached her, she stood up, performed ablution, prayed and supplicated: O Allah! If I have believed in You and in Your Messenger and have guarded my chastity except for my husband, then do not let this disbeliever overpower me. He was seized with convulsions and began kicking his feet. Al-A'raj states: Abu Salama bin Abdur-Rahman narrated from Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that Hadrat Sarah (may Allah be well pleased with her) prayed: O Allah! If he dies, people will say she killed him. So he was released. He again approached her, and she again performed ablution, prayed and said: O Allah! If I have believed in You and in Your Messenger and have guarded my chastity except for my husband, then do not let this disbeliever overpower me. He was again seized and began kicking his feet. Abdur-Rahman says: Abu Salama narrated from Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) that Hadrat Sarah (may Allah be well pleased with her) again prayed: O Allah! If he dies, people will say she killed him. He was released the second or third time. He then said: By Allah! You have sent me nothing but a devil! Return her to Ibrahim and give her Ajar (Hadrat Hajira, may Allah be well pleased with her). Hadrat Sarah (may Allah be well pleased with her) returned to Hadrat Ibrahim (upon him be peace) and said: Are you aware that Allah humiliated the disbeliever and granted (us) a maidservant?
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے ساتھ ہجرت فرمائی اور ایک بستی میں داخل ہوئے جہاں ایک بادشاہ یا ظالم حکمران تھا۔ اسے بتایا گیا کہ ابراہیم ایک انتہائی حسین خاتون کے ساتھ آئے ہیں۔ اس نے پیغام بھیجا: اے ابراہیم! یہ عورت تمہاری کون ہے؟ فرمایا: میری بہن ہے۔ پھر حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کے پاس آئے اور فرمایا: میری بات نہ جھٹلانا، میں نے انہیں بتایا ہے کہ تم میری بہن ہو۔ اللہ کی قسم! اس روئے زمین پر میرے اور تمہارے سوا کوئی مومن نہیں ہے۔ (پھر بادشاہ نے) حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کو بلوایا۔ جب وہ اٹھ کر ان کی طرف آیا تو حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے وضو فرما کر نماز پڑھی اور دعا کی: اے اللہ! اگر میں تجھ پر اور تیرے رسول پر ایمان رکھتی ہوں اور میں نے اپنے شوہر کے سوا اپنی عزت محفوظ رکھی ہے تو اس کافر کو مجھ پر مسلط نہ فرما۔ وہ تھرایا یہاں تک کہ اپنے پاؤں پٹخنے لگا۔ اعرج فرماتے ہیں: حضرت ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا کہ حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے فرمایا: حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے دعا کی: اے اللہ! اگر یہ مر گیا تو لوگ کہیں گے اسی نے مارا ہے۔ چنانچہ وہ چھوٹ گیا۔ پھر وہ ان کی طرف بڑھا تو حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے پھر وضو کر کے نماز پڑھی اور دعا کی: اے اللہ! اگر میں تجھ پر اور تیرے رسول پر ایمان رکھتی ہوں اور اپنے شوہر کے سوا اپنی عزت محفوظ رکھی ہے تو اس کافر کو مجھ پر مسلط نہ فرما۔ وہ پھر تھرایا اور پاؤں پٹخنے لگا۔ عبدالرحمٰن فرماتے ہیں: حضرت ابوسلمہ نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے بیان کیا کہ حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا نے پھر دعا کی: اے اللہ! اگر یہ مر گیا تو لوگ کہیں گے اسی نے مارا ہے۔ دوسری یا تیسری مرتبہ بھی وہ چھوٹ گیا۔ آخر وہ کہنے لگا: اللہ کی قسم! تم لوگوں نے میرے پاس ایک شیطان بھیج دیا ہے۔ اسے ابراہیم کے پاس لوٹا دو اور اسے آجر (حضرت ہاجرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا) دے دو۔ حضرت سارہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا حضرت ابراہیم علیہ السلام کے پاس واپس آئیں اور فرمایا: کیا آپ کو علم ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے کافر کو ذلیل و رسوا فرمایا اور ایک لونڈی بھی عطا فرمائی؟
