Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ بَاعَ نَخْلاً قَدْ أُبِّرَتْ فَثَمَرُهَا لِلْبَائِعِ، إِلاَّ أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: Whoever sells date palms that have been pollinated, their fruit belongs to the seller, unless the buyer stipulates (that the fruit shall be included in the sale).
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جس نے کھجور کے ایسے درخت بیچے جن کو پیوند لگایا جا چکا ہو، تو ان کا پھل بیچنے والے کا ہے، مگر یہ کہ خریدار (پھلوں کی) شرط لگا لے۔
