Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَبِيعُ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ بَعْضٍ، وَلاَ تَلَقَّوُا السِّلَعَ حَتَّى يُهْبَطَ بِهَا إِلَى السُّوقِ ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: None of you should sell over the sale of another, and do not go ahead to meet the merchandise (caravans) until they have reached the market.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی کسی دوسرے کی بیع پر بیع نہ کرے، اور آنے والے مال کو بازار میں اترنے سے پہلے راستے میں جا کر نہ خریدو۔
