Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يَبِيعُ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ ".
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) declared: Let none of you sell over the sale of his brother (i.e., do not interfere in another person's concluded transaction).
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنے بھائی کی بیع پر بیع نہ کرے (یعنی کسی اور کی طے شدہ خرید و فروخت میں مداخلت نہ کرے)۔
