Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الْجَعْدِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، يَقُولُ ذَهَبَتْ بِي خَالَتِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ ابْنَ أُخْتِي وَجِعٌ. فَمَسَحَ رَأْسِي وَدَعَا لِي بِالْبَرَكَةِ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ فَشَرِبْتُ مِنْ وَضُوئِهِ، ثُمَّ قُمْتُ خَلْفَ ظَهْرِهِ، فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى خَاتَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ مِثْلِ زِرِّ الْحَجَلَةِ.
English Translation
Hadrat al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: My maternal aunt took me to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! This nephew of mine is ill. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) passed his blessed hand over my head and prayed for blessings for me. Then he performed ablution and I drank the remaining water of his ablution. Then I stood behind his blessed back and saw the Seal of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)hood between his shoulders — it was like the knob of a small tent (or a pigeon's egg).
Urdu Translation
حضرت سائب بن یزید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: میری خالہ مجھے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمتِ اقدس میں لے گئیں اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میرا یہ بھانجا بیمار ہے۔ آپ نے میرے سر پر اپنا دستِ مبارک پھیرا اور میرے لیے برکت کی دعا فرمائی۔ پھر آپ نے وضو فرمایا اور میں نے آپ کے وضو کا بچا ہوا پانی پیا۔ پھر میں آپ کی کمر مبارک کے پیچھے کھڑا ہوا تو میں نے آپ کے مونڈھوں کے درمیان مہرِ نبوت دیکھی — جو ایسی تھی جیسے خیمے کی گھنڈی (یا کبوتر کا انڈا)۔
