Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَدْرٍ، شُجَاعُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُمَرِيِّ، قَالَ وَحَدَّثَ نَافِعٌ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ، وَسَالِمًا، كَلَّمَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ فَقَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُعْتَمِرِينَ، فَحَالَ كُفَّارُ قُرَيْشٍ دُونَ الْبَيْتِ، فَنَحَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بُدْنَهُ، وَحَلَقَ رَأْسَهُ.
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Nafi' that Hadrat Abdullah and Salim spoke to Hadrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) (urging him not to go to Makkah that year). He replied: 'We set out with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) having assumed Ihram for Umrah, and the disbelievers of the Quraysh prevented us from reaching the House of Allah. So the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) slaughtered his camels and had his blessed head shaved.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت نافع سے روایت ہے کہ عبداللہ اور سالم نے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے گفتگو کی (کہ اس سال مکہ نہ جائیں)۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ عمرے کا احرام باندھ کر نکلے تھے اور کفارِ قریش نے ہمیں بیت اللہ سے روک دیا تھا۔ تب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اپنے اونٹ نحر فرمائے اور سر مبارک منڈوایا۔
