Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ لَيْسَ التَّحْصِيبُ بِشَىْءٍ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ مَنْزِلٌ نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat 'Abdullah bin 'Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) that staying at al-Muhassab is not one of the ceremonies (of Hajj); it was merely a place where the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) camped (during his Farewell Hajj).
Urdu Translation
ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو نے عطاء بن ابی رباح سے بیان کیا اور ان سے حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ محصب میں اترنا حج کی کوئی عبادت نہیں ہے، یہ تو صرف رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے قیام فرمانے کی جگہ تھی۔
