Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنا الْحُسَيْن بن مهدي قال أخبرنا عبد الرَّزَّاق قال أخبرنا معمر عن أيوب عن محمد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال لا تسموا العنب الكرم
English Translation
Al-Husayn ibn Mahdi narrated to us, he said: Abd ar-Razzaq informed us, he said: Ma'mar informed us from Ayyub from Muhammad from Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: «Do not call grapes 'al-karm' (the noble vine).»
Urdu Translation
حسین بن مہدی نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی، انہوں نے کہا: عبدالرزاق نے ہمیں خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا: معمر نے ہمیں ایوب سے خبر دی، انہوں نے محمد سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: «انگور کو 'کرم' نہ کہو۔»
