حَدَّثَنا الفضل بن يعقوب الرخامي حَدَّثَنا سعيد بن مسلمة حَدَّثَنا أبو مالك عن أبي حازم عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إني لأذود الناس عن حوضي كما يذود راعي الإبل عن حوضه قالوا يا رسول الله وتعرفنا قال نعم ترد علي أمتي غرا محجلين من آثار هذا الوضوء ليس هذا السيما لأحد غيركم من الأمم والذي نفسي بيده لهو أبعد من أيلة إلى عدن يريد حوضه صلى الله عليه وسلم آنيته أكثر من النجوم ولهو أحلى من العسل وأبرد من الثلج لا يشرب منه عبد شربة فيظمأ ما دامت السَّمَاوات والأَرْض وليصرفن عنه بعضكم فلأقولن أَصْحَابِي فَيُقَالُ إِنَّكَ لا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بعدك إني لأذود الناس عن حوضي كما يذود راعي الإبل عن حوضه قالوا يا رسول الله وتعرفنا قال نعم ترد علي أمتي غرا محجلين من آثار هذا الوضوء ليس هذا السيما لأحد غيركم من الأمم والذي نفسي بيده لهو أبعد من أيلة إلى عدن يريد حوضه صلى الله عليه وسلم آنيته أكثر من النجوم ولهو أحلى من العسل وأبرد من الثلج لا يشرب منه عبد شربة فيظمأ ما دامت السَّمَاوات والأَرْض وليصرفن عنه بعضكم فلأقولن أَصْحَابِي فَيُقَالُ إِنَّكَ لا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بعدك
English Translation
Al-Fadl ibn Ya'qub ar-Rukhami narrated to us: Sa'id ibn Maslamah narrated to us: Abu Malik narrated to us from Abu Hazim from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, I shall drive people away from my Basin as a camel herder drives away camels from his basin." They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will you recognize us?' He said: "Yes, my ummah will come to me with bright faces and limbs from the traces of this ablution. No nation has this mark except you. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, it is farther than from Aylah to Aden" — meaning his Basin (peace and blessings be upon him). "Its vessels are more numerous than the stars, and it is sweeter than honey and colder than snow. No servant drinks from it a single sip and thirsts while the heavens and earth endure. And some of you will be turned away from it, and I will say: 'My companions!' But it will be said: 'You do not know what they innovated after you.'"
