حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن عثمان بن كرامة حَدَّثَنا عبيد الله عن شيبان يعني ابن عبد الرحمن النحوي عن عاصم عن زياد بن قيس عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ويل للعرب من شر اقتربوهذا الكلام قد رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ وُجُوهٍ ولاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن زياد بن قيس إلا عاصم ولا روى زياد بن قيس عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا حديثين هذا أحدهما والآخر ويل للعرب من شر اقتربوهذا الكلام قد رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ وُجُوهٍ ولاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عن زياد بن قيس إلا عاصم ولا روى زياد بن قيس عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا حديثين هذا أحدهما والآخر
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Uthman ibn Karamah narrated to us: Ubaydullah narrated to us from Shayban, meaning Ibn Abd ar-Rahman an-Nahwi, from Asim from Ziyad ibn Qays from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn near." This statement has been narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through multiple routes. We do not know anyone who narrated it from Ziyad ibn Qays except Asim, and Ziyad ibn Qays did not narrate from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) except two hadiths, this being one of them.
