حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن علي الأهوازي حَدَّثَنا معافى بن سليمان حَدَّثَنا موسى بن أعين عن ليث عَنْ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ سَعِيد بْنِ جُبَيْر عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلاثٍ ألا أنام إلا على وتر وصوم ثلاثة أيام من كل شهر والغسل يوم الجُمُعَة أو ركعتي الضحى أبو بَكْر يشكوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ سَعِيد بن جُبَيْر عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الوَجْه وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ من طرق كثيرة قَالَ أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلاثٍ ألا أنام إلا على وتر وصوم ثلاثة أيام من كل شهر والغسل يوم الجُمُعَة أو ركعتي الضحى أبو بَكْر يشكوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمْهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ سَعِيد بن جُبَيْر عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الوَجْه وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ من طرق كثيرة
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ali al-Ahwazi narrated to us: Mu'afa ibn Sulayman narrated to us: Musa ibn A'yan narrated to us from Layth from Habib from Sa'id ibn Jubayr from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: My beloved friend counseled me with three things: not to sleep except after performing witr, fasting three days every month, and the bath on Friday — or the two rak'ahs of Duha. This hadith is not known to be narrated from Sa'id ibn Jubayr from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) except through this route, though it has been narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) through many routes.
