حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن عبد الملك القرشي حَدَّثَنا مسلمة بن علقمة حَدَّثَنا داود عن الشَّعْبِي عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنِ انْتَظَرَهَا حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ أو يقضي قضاؤها فله قيراطان اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنِ انْتَظَرَهَا حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ أو يقضي قضاؤها فله قيراطان
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik al-Qurashi narrated to us: Maslamah ibn Alqamah narrated to us: Dawud narrated to us from ash-Sha'bi from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever prays over a funeral, he shall have one qirat, and whoever waits until it is buried or its matter is concluded, he shall have two qirat."
