حَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّد بن عبد الملك حَدَّثَنا بشير بن المفضل عن الجريري عن مضارب بن حزن عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لا عدوى ولا هامة وخير الطيرة الفأل والعين حقولا نعلم روى مضارب عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا هذا الحديث أبو الجوزاء اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لا عدوى ولا هامة وخير الطيرة الفأل والعين حقولا نعلم روى مضارب عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا هذا الحديث أبو الجوزاء
English Translation
Ibrahim narrated to us, Musa narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Amr from Abu Salamah from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who stated: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: "The prayer of a man in congregation is twenty-five degrees superior to his prayer [alone] in his house or marketplace. When he performs ablution and does it well, then goes out to the mosque, not going out except for the prayer, every step he takes raises him one degree and removes one sin from him."
