English Translation

Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us, Salamah ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, al-Hajjaj ibn Artah narrated to us, from Ata', from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «I was given five things that no prophet before me was given: the earth was made a place of purification and prayer for me; I was granted victory through awe over the enemy for a distance of one month's journey; the spoils of war were made lawful for me, and they were not lawful for anyone before me; I was sent to the red and the black; and no prophet was sent except to his own people. And every prophet was given a granted supplication which he used, but I have reserved my supplication as intercession for my Ummah.»
