حدثنا عمر بن الخطاب حدثنا موسى بن مسعود حدثنا مطرف عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صالحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هريرة رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أنهم قالوا يا رسول الله كيف تعرف من لم تر من أمتك قال غر من آثار الطهوروهذا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ مطرف هذا رواه عنه موسى بن مسعود
English Translation
Umar ibn al-Khattab narrated to us, Musa ibn Mas'ud narrated to us, Mutarrif narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that they said: O Messenger of Allah, how will you recognize those from your Ummah whom you have not seen? He stated: «By the radiance from the traces of ablution.» This hadith — we do not know that anyone narrated it except Mutarrif, and Musa ibn Mas'ud narrated it from him.
