حَدَّثَنا عيسى بن عبد الله بن أخي يحيى بن عيسى قال حدثني عمي يحيى بن عيسى عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أنهم قالوا هل نرى ربنا يوم القيامة قال نعم هل تضامون في رؤية الشمس والقمر قالوا لا قال فإنكم لا تضامون في رؤيته أو لا تمارون في رؤيته كما لا تضامون أو لا تمارون في رؤيتهماوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا يحيى بن عيسى ويحيى بن عيسى هذا رجل ثقة من أهل الكوفة متقدم عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أنهم قالوا هل نرى ربنا يوم القيامة قال نعم هل تضامون في رؤية الشمس والقمر قالوا لا قال فإنكم لا تضامون في رؤيته أو لا تمارون في رؤيته كما لا تضامون أو لا تمارون في رؤيتهماوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا يحيى بن عيسى ويحيى بن عيسى هذا رجل ثقة من أهل الكوفة متقدم
English Translation
Isa ibn Abdullah ibn the nephew of Yahya ibn Isa narrated to us, he stated: My uncle Yahya ibn Isa narrated to me, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that they asked: 'Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?' He stated: «Yes. Do you dispute concerning seeing the sun and moon?» They said: 'No.' He stated: «Then you will not dispute concerning seeing Him, just as you do not dispute concerning seeing them.» This hadith — we do not know that anyone narrated it from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except Yahya ibn Isa. Yahya ibn Isa is a trustworthy man from the people of Kufa, of high standing.
