حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ المُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنا أبو وكيع عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ إلا وله صيته في السماء فإن كان صيته في السماء حسنا وضع في الأرض وإن كان صيته سيئا وضع في الأَرْضِوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا أبو وكيع اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ إلا وله صيته في السماء فإن كان صيته في السماء حسنا وضع في الأرض وإن كان صيته سيئا وضع في الأَرْضِوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ إلا أبو وكيع
English Translation
Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Abu al-Walid narrated to us, Abu Waki' narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «There is no servant except that he has a reputation in the heavens. If his reputation in the heavens is good, it is placed on earth. And if his reputation is bad, it is placed on earth.» This hadith — we do not know that anyone narrated it from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) except Abu Waki'.
