حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ قَالَ حدثنا المعتمر بن سليمان حَدَّثَنا أبي عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أنه قال احتج آدم وموسى فقال موسى لآدم أنت آدم الذي خلقك الله بيده فيك من روحه أخرجتنا أو أخرجت ذريتك من الجنة قال فحج آدم موسى وذكر الحديث
English Translation
Yahya ibn Habib ibn Arabi narrated to us, he stated: al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulaiman narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he stated: «Adam and Moses argued. Moses said to Adam: 'You are Adam whom Allah created with His Hand, into whom He breathed of His Spirit. You caused us — or you caused your descendants — to be expelled from Paradise.' Adam prevailed in argument over Moses.» And the rest of the hadith was mentioned.
