وحَدَّثَنا أحمد بن أبان حَدَّثَنا عبد العزيز بن مُحَمَّد حَدَّثَنا سهيل عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لا تبدءوا اليهود والنصارى بالسلام وإذا لقيتموهم في الطريق فاضروهم إلى أضيقها اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لا تبدءوا اليهود والنصارى بالسلام وإذا لقيتموهم في الطريق فاضروهم إلى أضيقها
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Aban narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Suhayl narrated to us from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Do not greet the Jews and Christians with the salutation first. When you meet them on a road, force them to its narrowest part.»
