حدثنا عبد الوارث بن عبد الصَّمَد بن عبد الوارث قال حدثني أبي حدثنا حَمَّاد بن َ سلمة عن عاصم عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قال إن الله تبارك وتعالى ليرفع الرجل الدرجة فيقول أنى لي هذه فيقول بدعاء ولدك لكوَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ إلاَّ حَمَّادُ عن عاصم عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ الله عنه
English Translation
Abd al-Warith ibn Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to me, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Asim from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: Indeed, Allah, Blessed and Exalted, raises a man in rank, and he says: 'How did I attain this?' He says: 'Through your child's supplication for you.' This hadith is not known to have been narrated except by Hammad from Asim from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him).
