حَدَّثنا يوسف بن موسى قَال حَدَّثنا عَاصِم بن يوسف قَال حَدَّثنا أَبْو بَكْر بن عياش عَن أبي حَصِين عَن أبي صالح عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يعرض عليه القرآن في كل عام فلما كان العام الذي قبض فيه عرض عليه مَرَّتَيْنِ وَكان يعتكف العشر الأواخر من رمضان فلما كان العام الذي قبض فيه اعتكف عشرين يوماوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يعرض عليه القرآن في كل عام فلما كان العام الذي قبض فيه عرض عليه مَرَّتَيْنِ وَكان يعتكف العشر الأواخر من رمضان فلما كان العام الذي قبض فيه اعتكف عشرين يوماوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
English Translation
Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Asim ibn Yusuf narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash narrated to us from Abu Hasin from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would have the Quran presented to him every year. In the year in which he passed away, it was presented to him twice. He used to observe itikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan. In the year in which he passed away, he observed itikaf for twenty days. This hadith is not known to be narrated from Abu Hurairah except through this chain.
