حَدَّثَنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو قُتَيبة قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي صالح عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال إن الله إذا أحب عَبدا أَحسَبُهُ قال نادى جبريل أَحسَبُهُ قال في السماء إن الله أحب فلانا فأحبوه ثُمَّ ينزل له القبول في الأرض اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال إن الله إذا أحب عَبدا أَحسَبُهُ قال نادى جبريل أَحسَبُهُ قال في السماء إن الله أحب فلانا فأحبوه ثُمَّ ينزل له القبول في الأرض
English Translation
Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us from al-A'mash from Abu Salih from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Between the two trumpet blasts there are forty.» They asked: Forty days? He said: «I refuse to specify.» They asked: Forty years? He said: «I refuse to specify.» They asked: Forty months? He said: «I refuse to specify. Everything of the human body decays except the coccyx bone. From it he was created and from it he will be reconstituted.»
