وحَدَّثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ فيما أعلم قَال حَدَّثنا سفيان بن عُيَينة عن أبي الزِّنَاد عَن الأَعرَج عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مطل الغني ظلم وإذا أتبع أحدكم على مليء فليتبع اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم مطل الغني ظلم وإذا أتبع أحدكم على مليء فليتبع
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Abdah narrated to us -- as far as I know -- he said: Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us from Abu al-Zinad from al-A'raj from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «The procrastination of the wealthy in paying his debts is injustice. When one of you is referred to a solvent debtor, let him accept the referral.»
