English Translation

Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr narrated to us from Suhayl from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «A woman was forgiven -- she was a prostitute -- who passed by a dog panting at the edge of a well, nearly dying of thirst. She removed her leather sock, tied it to her scarf, and drew water for it. She was forgiven because of that.»
