حَدَّثَنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ومُحَمد بْنُ بَشَّار ومُحَمد بْنُ مَعْمَر وَالسَّكَنُ بْنُ سَعِيد قَالُوا حَدَّثنا مُؤَمَّل قَال حَدَّثنا سُفيان عَن عَبد الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم على أصحابه وهم في المسجد حلق حلق فقال ما لي أراكم عزينوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ عَبد الملك عَن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مُؤَمَّل عن الثوري وَلَمْ يُتَابَعْ عَلَيْهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم على أصحابه وهم في المسجد حلق حلق فقال ما لي أراكم عزينوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ عَبد الملك عَن أبي سَلَمَة عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مُؤَمَّل عن الثوري وَلَمْ يُتَابَعْ عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali, Muhammad ibn Bashshar, Muhammad ibn Ma'mar, and al-Sakan ibn Sa'id narrated to us, they said: Mu'ammal narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us from Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr from Abu Salamah from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came out to his Companions while they were sitting in the mosque in separate circles and said: «Why do I see you in scattered groups?» This hadith -- we do not know anyone who narrated it from Abd al-Malik from Abu Salamah from Abu Hurairah except Mu'ammal from al-Thawri, and he was not corroborated in it.
