حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بْنُ جَوَّانَ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَال حَدَّثنا بهلول بن مورق قَال حَدَّثنا ابن أبي ذِئب عَن سَعِيد عَن أبي هُرَيرة قال حفظت مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَحسَبُهُ قال جرابين فأما أحدهما فبثثته في الناس وأما الآخر فلو بثثته لقطع مني البلعوم اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَحسَبُهُ قال جرابين فأما أحدهما فبثثته في الناس وأما الآخر فلو بثثته لقطع مني البلعوم
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us saying: Yahya ibn Said narrated to us from Malik from Abu Hazim from Sahl ibn Sa'd from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with them) from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who said: «Whoever purifies himself in his house, then walks to one of the houses of Allah to fulfill one of the obligations of Allah, one of his steps will erase a sin and the other will raise him a degree.»
