حَدَّثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَال حَدَّثنا سفيان بن عُيَينة عن عُبَيد الله بن أبي يزيد عن نافع بن جُبَير بن مطعم عَن أبي هُرَيرة قال أخذ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَحسَبُهُ قال بيدي من سوق بني قينقاع لا يكلمني ولاَ أكلمه حتى وقف على باب فاطمة فقال أثم لكع يعني الحسن قال أَبُو هُرَيرة فحسبت أن أمه حبسته حتى غسلت وجهه وألبسته أظنه قال سخابة ثُمَّ خرج إلى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فاعتنقه فقال اللهم أحبه وأحب من يحبه عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَحسَبُهُ قال بيدي من سوق بني قينقاع لا يكلمني ولاَ أكلمه حتى وقف على باب فاطمة فقال أثم لكع يعني الحسن قال أَبُو هُرَيرة فحسبت أن أمه حبسته حتى غسلت وجهه وألبسته أظنه قال سخابة ثُمَّ خرج إلى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فاعتنقه فقال اللهم أحبه وأحب من يحبه
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Abdah narrated to us saying: Sufyan ibn Uyainah narrated to us from Ubaid Allah ibn Abi Yazid from Nafi ibn Jubair ibn Mut'im from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) — I think he said: took me by my hand from the market of Banu Qainuqa, neither speaking to me nor I to him, until he stopped at the door of Fatimah and said: 'Is the little one there?' — meaning al-Hasan. Abu Hurairah said: I thought his mother detained him until she washed his face and dressed him — I think he said: in a necklace. Then he came out to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who embraced him and said: «O Allah, love him and love those who love him.»
