حَدَّثنا عَمْرو قَال حَدَّثنا أَحسَبُهُ قال يحيى عَن ابن عَجْلان قال سَمِعْتُ أبي يحدث عَن أبي هُرَيرة أَنَّ النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سَمِعَ صوت صبي فخفف اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم سَمِعَ صوت صبي فخفف
English Translation
Amr narrated to us, saying: I believe he said Yahya narrated to us from Ibn Ajlan, saying: I heard my father narrate from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) heard the voice of a child (crying during prayer), so he shortened the prayer.
