حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن بَشَّار قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَال حَدَّثنا شُعْبَةُ عَن العلاء بن عَبد الرحمن عَن أَبِيه عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فيما أحسب قال إذا دعا أحدكم أَحسَبُهُ قال فليعزم فإن الله لا يتعاظم عليه شيء أعطاه عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فيما أحسب قال إذا دعا أحدكم أَحسَبُهُ قال فليعزم فإن الله لا يتعاظم عليه شيء أعطاه
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Jafar narrated to us, saying: Shubah narrated to us from al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), as far as I think, who stated: "When one of you supplicates" — I believe he said — "let him be resolute, for nothing is too great for Allah to give."
