حَدَّثَنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَال حَدَّثنا يحيى بن مُحَمد بن قيس قَال حَدَّثنا العلاء بن عَبد الرحمن عَن أَبِيه عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثلاث إذا حدث كذب وإذا وعد أخلف وإذا اؤتمن خان اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ آيَةُ الْمُنَافِقِ ثلاث إذا حدث كذب وإذا وعد أخلف وإذا اؤتمن خان
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Qays narrated to us, saying: al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: "The signs of the hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is entrusted he betrays."
