وحَدَّثَنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَال حَدَّثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَال حَدَّثنا شعبة قَال سَمعتُ العلاء بن عَبد الرحمن عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم اليمين الكاذبة منفقة للسلعة ممحقة للبركة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم اليمين الكاذبة منفقة للسلعة ممحقة للبركة
English Translation
And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Jafar narrated to us, saying: Shubah narrated to us, saying: I heard al-Ala ibn Abd al-Rahman from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "A false oath makes merchandise sell but eliminates the blessing."
