وحَدَّثنا خالد بن يوسف يعني ابن خالد قَال حَدَّثني أبي عن موسى بن عقبة قَال حَدَّثني عُبَيد الله بن سلمان عَن أَبِيه عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الأبعد فالأبعد منكم أعظم أجرايعني في بعد الخطا إلا المسجدوهذه الأحاديث لا نعلمها تروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه بهذ الإسناد ولاَ نَعلم حدث بها عن موسى إلاَّ يوسف بن خالد ويوسف بن خالد كان رجلاً قد كتب الحديث رحل فيه إلى الكوفة فكتب عن الأعمش وَكان أول من وضع الكتب المبسوطة في الوثائق وَلكن دخل في الكلام فجاوز حد أهل العلم فضعف حديثه من أجل ذلك أبو عَبد الله الأغر عَن أبي هُرَيرة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم الأبعد فالأبعد منكم أعظم أجرايعني في بعد الخطا إلا المسجدوهذه الأحاديث لا نعلمها تروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه بهذ الإسناد ولاَ نَعلم حدث بها عن موسى إلاَّ يوسف بن خالد ويوسف بن خالد كان رجلاً قد كتب الحديث رحل فيه إلى الكوفة فكتب عن الأعمش وَكان أول من وضع الكتب المبسوطة في الوثائق وَلكن دخل في الكلام فجاوز حد أهل العلم فضعف حديثه من أجل ذلك أبو عَبد الله الأغر عَن أبي هُرَيرة
English Translation
And Khalid ibn Yusuf, meaning Ibn Khalid, narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me from Musa ibn Uqbah, saying: Ubaidullah ibn Salman narrated to me from his father from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "The one farthest away from you has the greatest reward" — meaning in the distance of steps to the mosque. These hadiths are not known to us to be narrated from Abu Hurairah except through this route with this chain, and we do not know of anyone narrating them from Musa except Yusuf ibn Khalid. Yusuf ibn Khalid was a man who had collected hadith and traveled to Kufa for it and wrote from al-Amash. He was the first to author detailed books on legal documents. However, he entered into theological speculation and exceeded the limits of the people of knowledge, so his hadith was weakened because of that. Abu Abdullah al-Agharr from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him).
