حَدَّثَنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَال حَدَّثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أَخْبَرنا مُحَمد بن إسحاق عَن موسى بن يسار عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لله أفرح بتوبة عَبده من أحدكم أَحسَبُهُ قال يجد ضالته أراه قال بفلاة من الأرض عليها طعامه وشرابه اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لله أفرح بتوبة عَبده من أحدكم أَحسَبُهُ قال يجد ضالته أراه قال بفلاة من الأرض عليها طعامه وشرابه
English Translation
Amr ibn Ali narrated to us, saying: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us from Musa ibn Yasar from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than one of you" — I believe he said — "who finds his lost animal" — I think he said — "in a barren land, upon which is his food and drink."
