حَدَّثنا أحمد بن أَبَان القرشي قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد العزيز بن مُحَمد عَن ثور بن زيد عَن أبي الغيث عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال من أخذ أموال الناس يريد أداءها أداها الله عنه وَمَنْ أخذها يريد إتلافها أتلفه اللَّهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ مِنْ هذا الوجه بهذا الإسناد من أخذ أموال الناس يريد أداءها أداها الله عنه وَمَنْ أخذها يريد إتلافها أتلفه اللَّهُوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إلاَّ مِنْ هذا الوجه بهذا الإسناد
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Aban al-Qurashi narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Thawr ibn Zayd, from Abu al-Ghayth, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who stated: «Whoever takes people's wealth intending to repay it, Allah will repay it on his behalf. And whoever takes it intending to destroy it, Allah will destroy him.» This hadith is not known to us from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) except from this chain.
