حَدَّثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبد اللَّهِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بن سُوَيْد بن منجوف قَال حَدَّثنا روح بن عبادة قَال حَدَّثنا مالك عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عن حُمَيد بن عَبد الرحمن عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال لولا أن أشق على أمتي لأمرتهم بالسواك مع كل صلاة اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال لولا أن أشق على أمتي لأمرتهم بالسواك مع كل صلاة
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Ali ibn Suwayd ibn Manjuf narrated to us, he said: Rawh ibn Ubadah narrated to us, he said: Malik narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Humayd ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he stated: «Were it not that I would cause hardship for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak with every prayer.»
