حَدَّثنا مُحَمد بن مسكين قَال حَدَّثنا عَبد الله بن صالح قال حدثني اللَّيْث قال حدثني عُقَيل عَن ابن شِهاب عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أبي هُرَيرة قَالَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يقول لا تقوم الساعة حتى تخرج نار من أرض الحجاز تضيء أَحسَبُهُ قال منها أعناق الإبل ببصرىوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد إلاَّ عُقَيل وقد خولف عُقَيل في روايته عَن الزُّهْرِيّ اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم يقول لا تقوم الساعة حتى تخرج نار من أرض الحجاز تضيء أَحسَبُهُ قال منها أعناق الإبل ببصرىوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد إلاَّ عُقَيل وقد خولف عُقَيل في روايته عَن الزُّهْرِيّ
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Miskin narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Salih narrated to us, he said: al-Layth narrated to me, he said: Uqayl narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saying: «The Hour will not be established until a fire emerges from the land of the Hijaz, illuminating» — I think he said: «the necks of camels at Busra.» This hadith is not known to us from anyone narrating it from az-Zuhri from Sa'id except Uqayl, and Uqayl has been differed with regarding his narration from az-Zuhri.
