وحَدَّثناه عُبَيد بن إسماعيل الهباري قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو أسامة عن عُبَيد الله عَن الزبيري عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عليه أربعاولا نعلم أسند الثقات عَنْ عُبَيد اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَر عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أبي هُرَيرة غير هذا الحديثوقد رَواه عُبَيد الله غير واحد اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم أَنَّه صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عليه أربعاولا نعلم أسند الثقات عَنْ عُبَيد اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَر عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد بن الْمُسَيَّب عَن أبي هُرَيرة غير هذا الحديثوقد رَواه عُبَيد الله غير واحد
English Translation
Ubayd ibn Isma'il al-Habbari narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Ubaidullah, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him), from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he prayed the funeral prayer over the Negus and pronounced four takbirs over him. We do not know of any reliable narrators who connected the chain from Ubaidullah ibn Umar from az-Zuhri from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib from Abu Hurairah except for this hadith. Ubaidullah has narrated it through more than one source.
