حَدَّثنا عُمَر الخطاب قَال حَدَّثنا أَبُو اليمان قَال حَدَّثنا شعيب عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة عَن أبي هُرَيرة أن رجلاً من المسلمين رأى رجلاً من اليهود فقال المسلم والذي اصطفى محمدا على البشر فقال اليهودي والذي اصطفى موسى على البشر فلطمه المسلم فأتى اليهودي النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وأخبره خبر المسلم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا تخيروني على موسى فإن الناس يصعقون يوم القيامة فأكون أول من يرفع رأسه فإذا أنا به تحت قائمة العرش فلا أدري أصعق فيمن صعق فأفاق أو كان ممن استثنى اللهوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة إلاَّ شعيب ورواه النعمان بن راشد وغيره عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم اليهودي النَّبِيّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيه وَسَلَّم وأخبره خبر المسلم فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لا تخيروني على موسى فإن الناس يصعقون يوم القيامة فأكون أول من يرفع رأسه فإذا أنا به تحت قائمة العرش فلا أدري أصعق فيمن صعق فأفاق أو كان ممن استثنى اللهوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نعلَمُ أحَدًا رَوَاهُ عَن سَعِيد وَأَبي سَلَمة إلاَّ شعيب ورواه النعمان بن راشد وغيره عَن الزُّهْرِيّ عَن سَعِيد عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة عَن النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم
English Translation
Umar al-Khattab narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, he said: Shu'ayb narrated to us, from az-Zuhri, from Sa'id and Abu Salamah, from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that a man from the Muslims saw a man from the Jews and the Muslim said: "By the One Who chose Muhammad over mankind!" The Jew said: "By the One Who chose Musa over mankind!" So the Muslim slapped him. The Jew came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and informed him about the Muslim's action. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: «Do not prefer me over Musa, for on the Day of Resurrection people will be struck unconscious, and I will be the first to raise his head, and there I will find him holding onto a pillar of the Throne. I do not know whether he was struck unconscious among those who were struck and then recovered, or whether he was among those whom Allah exempted.» This hadith is not known to us from anyone narrating it from Sa'id and Abu Salamah except Shu'ayb. An-Nu'man ibn Rashid and others narrated it from az-Zuhri from Sa'id from Abu Hurairah from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
